Am I really saving
money?
Yes. Understandably some people are skeptical about offers that claim
savings with no effort on their part. These fears may or may not have
been exacerbated by ESCOs with questionable business practices and
ethics. We understand these concerns, and at Censtar, we are willing to
answer any questions you may have about ESCOs. Please do not hesitate to
bring your concerns up to our service representatives.
Who will handle
service and repairs?
While Censtar provides you with your natural gas, the utility company
continues to deliver the energy to your home or business. Con Edison
will continue to handle meter reading and repair, gas transportation,
line repair and emergency calls.
What will change for
me as a customer?
The only noticeable change will be with your bill. The invoice you
receive will have a portion from Censtar. The delivery of your natural
gas will not change; it will still be provided through the same lines,
and by the same company.
Is Con Edsion OK with
my purchasing natural gas from another supplier?
Yes, in fact, they encourage it. If you check your monthly bill there is
a section that recommends their customers seek out ESCOs that may fit

Can the local
distribution company ever stop sending gas if we are with an ESCO?
No, customers will never stop recieving services from the utility
company as members of an ESCO.
What if I am already
with an ESCO?
ESCOs are all about the ability to choose your energy provider! If you
wish to switch from another ESCO to Censtar Energy you may either
contact your utility company or Censtar to process the switch.
Are there any
penalties if I choose to switch my energy supplier?
Censtar does not charge customers to begin or discontinue their
membership with our company.
